Math Game


The Math Game ™ - The following is an overview of the learning goals for each of the ten games:

Game 1 - It All Adds Up This game teaches the concepts and principles of addition. It provides players with practice using addition facts, and develops reasoning skills in addition.

Game 2 - What's the Difference? This game teaches the concepts and principles of subtraction. It provides players with practice using subtraction facts, and develops reasoning skills in subtraction.

Game 3 - Undercover This game teaches the basic multiplication facts through the number 12.

Game 4 - Times Up This game teaches the relationship between multiplication and addition. It allows players to practice the basic multiplication facts through the number 12, and applies them to word problems.

Game 5 - The Great Divide This game teaches the relationship between division and multiplication. It enables players to practice the basic division facts through the number 12, and applies them to word problems.

Game 6 - Check It Out This game teaches standard checking principles, such as where to look for mistakes in basic problems, and how to check by casting out nines.

Game 7 - Incognito This game teaches that every fraction has an equivalent decimal and percent; every decimal has an equivalent fraction and percent; every percent has an equivalent fraction and decimal; and that all fractions, decimals and percents are just division problems written another way.

Game 8 - Fraction Action This game teaches how to reduce fractions, and how to identify equivalent fractions.

Game 9 - Get A Clue This game teaches the principles of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions, how to review equivalent fractions, and how to identify lowest common denominators.

Game 10 - Detective Dollars This game teaches how to do calculations involving money. It also teaches the principles of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of decimals.
